1. completing and sending a quotation request

If you find a photo you would like to use then copy the filename and paste it into an email along with the caption and country details.

Add your contact details. Define your picture requirements including picture size, resolution, colour mode and any other special criteria. Describe what the photo(s) are scheduled to be used for, including publication circulation or print run, size of photo, cover or internal and how many different times it will be used. Explain how urgently you require the picture file.

diversity photos runs an ability to pay policy to enable use of pictures by the widest possible range of users. In some cases photos may be used free of charge. If you would like your quotation to take into consideration your ability to pay then fill in the questions on the form about your organisation or company or personal situation. If you leave these questions out then your quotation will be based on commercial rates. Reduction request.

2. receiving a quotation

You will receive a quotation at the earliest possible time. If you wish to go ahead with the order then send a reply.

3. requesting and receiving picture files, permission of use statement and invoice

Once terms have been agreed you will be sent as email attachments: the JPG photo file(s), a permission to use statement and an invoice. If you have a slow server or one which limits attachment size and so cannot cope with large files (one photo at standard JPG resolution and compression is typically 500k) then notify diversity photos to make alternative arrangements such as smaller file size, multiple emails or courier/snailmail.

Large higher quality scans (such as high resolution TIF files) may also be ordered and can be delivered on removable media such as CD ROM. Additional charges should be expected for these services.
